Officers Find Alleged Intruder Naked In Closet
WARSAW — A Syracuse man was recently arrested after allegedly breaking into a residence, with officers finding him naked in a closet and in possession of drugs.
Ethan David Jessie, 29, 4547 E. Fox Run Drive, Syracuse, is charged with residential entry and possession of methamphetamine, both level 6 felonies; and false informing, a class B misdemeanor.
On Jan. 31, a Warsaw Police officer went to a residence regarding a report of residential entry. According to court documents, a woman encountered a “strange” man in her residence. When the man proceeded into a bedroom at the residence, the woman ran out the back door and called 911.
Officers searched the residence and found Jessie naked in a bedroom closet. Initially, Jessie provided the officers with a false name.
Officers found Jessie’s clothes in the bedroom and discovered identification for Jessie. Also found in Jessie’s pants pocket was a small plastic bag containing methamphetamine.
Jessie was released on a $5,250 surety and cash bond. He has an initial hearing at 8:15 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, in Kosciusko Circuit Court.
