Woman Accused Of Trying To Sell Fake Meth In NET43 Buy
WARSAW — A Cromwell woman faces a drug charge after allegedly misrepresenting a substance during NET43 controlled buy.
Samantha Yvonne Klinge, 24, 11139 Humpty Dumpty Drive, Cromwell, was charged with unlawful delivery of a substance represented to be a controlled substance, a level 6 felony.
On Nov. 4, 2019, NET43 Drug Task Force conducted a controlled buy for 15 grams of what was originally thought to be methamphetamine from Klinge, said the affidavit of probable cause.
NET43 officers field-tested the white crystalline substance contained in a clear plastic bag. The substance failed the test for methamphetamine. The test identified the substance to be similar to kosher salt, said the affidavit.
On Feb. 13, Klinge was booked without bond in the Kosciusko County Jail.
