Miller Named To HNAC All-Conference
FULTON – The Hoosier North Athletic Conference issued its selections for All-Conference in girls basketball Sunday evening. Among the recipients is a Triton standout and several from the state runner-up Pioneer Panthers.
Triton’s lone selection for All-HNAC was Whytnie Miller, who wrapped up her career leading Triton to a 3-4 mark in the conference.
Pioneer and Knox both had phenomenal seasons, Knox with just two losses all year and Pioneer making its way all the way to the Class 1-A state finals. Both Pioneer and Knox were 6-1 in the conference and shared the title. Pioneer had Hailey Cripe, Ashlynn Brooke, Olivia Brooke and Madison Blickenstaff named All-HNAC and Makenzie Walker named Honorable Mention. Knox had Remi Jordan, Felicity Olejniczak, Megan Bolen and Preston Minix named All-HNAC.
Conference Player of the Year Lilliann Frasure headlined North Judson’s selections, the Blue Jays 5-2 and tied with Winamac for third. Frasure was All-HNAC and teammates Adlynn Harper and Olivia Burkett were Honorable Mention.
Winamac had Hailey Sanders, Kendal Johnson and Maggie Smith named All-HNAC and Blake Bailey as Honorable Mention.
Caston, Culver and LaVille were all 1-6 in the standings. Emily Holt of Caston and Maddie Shedrow of Culver were named All-HNAC, and Alex Temme of Culver and Tryntie Cox of LaVille were named Honorable Mention.
