Man Faces Child Molestation Charges
WARSAW — A Milford man faces charges after allegedly molesting two children.
Jerry Wayne Lecount, 45, 13918 North CR 400W, Milford, was arrested on a warrant for child molestation, a level 4 felony; and child solicitation, a level 5 felony.
On Nov. 20, 2019, an officer with Indiana State Police was assigned to a report of child molestation from Elkhart County on Nov. 18, 2019.
According to the affidavit, Lecount confessed to molesting two underage victims in Lagrange, Kosciusko and Marshall counties.
During an interview with police, Lecount admitted he touched one underage victim several times. The earliest account allegedly occurred in early 2019, said the affidavit. The second account with this victim allegedly occurred in August 2019.
According to the affidavit, he said he touched the second underage victim while in his bed about six months prior to the interview with police.
Lecount admitted to touching the victims in another interview with police conducted Dec. 16, 2019.
Both victims were interviewed by Child Protective Services, according to the affidavit.
On March 5, 2020, LeCount was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail. His initial bond was $16,000 surety and cash.
A no-contact order is in effect for this case, according to court paperwork.
