Nicholas ‘Nick’ Scott Phillips
Nicholas “Nick” Scott Phillips, 36, Warsaw, passed away at 4:08 a.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2020, in Fort Wayne.
He was born on Feb. 28, 1984, in Warsaw, Indiana to Jannell (Mills) Shori and Larry Phillips.
Nick was a lifetime resident of Warsaw, where he was a graduate of Warsaw Community High School and attended services at Warsaw Community Church. He loved and lived life to the fullest, and he did things his own way! He loved and enjoyed his large group of family and friends, and he enjoyed traveling because he loved the adventure. Country music was his way to communicate, when in high school he was in band, and grew up loving music and karaoke. Nick was the owner of his own plumbing business here in Warsaw for many years. He did have one very special lady in is life that cannot be forgotten, Lucy, his beloved little dog. Nick’s family would like to thank all of the people who have loved and supported Nick throughout his life. He will be dearly missed.
He will be lovingly remembered by father and step-mother: Larry and Debbie Phillips, Warsaw; mother and step-father: Jannell and Jim Shori, Plant City, Fla.; sister: Brooke (Jarrod) Rockhold, Plant City, Fla.; and his grandparents: Dale and Jeannine Phillips, Warsaw; Loren and Linda Sims, Winona Lake.
Friends and family are invited for visitation from 1-5 p.m., Thursday, March 19, at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw.
Nick’s life will be celebrated with a private family graveside service officiated by Pastor Todd Gurst with burial at Oakwood Cemetery of Warsaw.
