Kosciusko County Reports Six COVID-19 Recoveries
WARSAW — Six people have recovered from COVID-19 in Kosciusko County.
The report comes from a statement released Thursday afternoon, April 9, by the Kosciusko County Health Department.
As these individuals recover they may still experience fatigue, yet are deemed recovered if the local health department determined they met specific criteria set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
A total of 16 cases have been reported in Kosciusko County. As of noon, Thursday, April 9, KCHD has not received any new positive COVID-19 reports, said a news release from KCHD.
Throughout the weeks, KCHD followed up with positive cases to ensure they were following quarantine guidelines, as well as determining the health condition of each individual.
Along with the usual ‘situation update’ graph, there is also a graph that presents how Kosciusko County prevalence ranks compared to immediately surrounding counties, as well as Allen County.
The prevalence represents the percent of positive cases in the county compared to the respective counties’ population.
