Wildcats Crush Chargers On Diamond
SOUTH WHITLEY – The Whitko baseball team made short work of West Noble Monday night.
The host Wildcats scored six runs in the first inning en route to routing the Chargers 13-3 in five innings.
Wyatt Wolfe had two hits, including a double, and drove in three runs to pace Whitko.
Tanner Gaff was 2-2 with two RBI and three runs scored for the Wildcats, who improved to 5-1.
Zach Snep notched the pitching win for coach Erik Hisner’s squad. Ethan Nicodemus had a triple and Hunter Sroufe a double for the winners.
Devon Halderman had a home run for West Noble.
Whitko plays at Peru Wednesday.
