WARSAW — The Kosciusko County Alcohol and Tobacco Commission approved a new three-way permit for HopLore Brewing and renewed six permits for local businesses during a virtual meeting on Thursday, May 7.
Stefan King, HopLore Brewing co-founder, participated in the meeting. The establishment’s location in Leesburg currently has a two-way permit, but decided to move toward a three-way license in order to sell liquor.
A beer retailer permit for Tippy Creek Winery, Leesburg, was continued to the board’s June meeting due to the owners needing time to establish what type of beer permit to apply for. An alcoholic beverage permit transfer for the Phillips 66 Convenience Store in Warsaw was also continued to next month’s meeting. This is due to no signage being posted at the building to inform people of the business’s intentions to transfer the permit’s ownership. No representatives for Phillips 66 were present at the meeting.
The following permits were renewed at the ATC meeting:
- King’s Keg, 421 S. Main St., North Webster. Beer, wine and liquor – package store.
- Wilby’s Inc., doing business as Wilby’s Gas & Goodies, 307 W. Main St., Mentone. Beer and wine dealer – grocery store.
- T.O. Downtown Inc., doing business as Downtown Eatery & Spirits, 205 W. Center St., Warsaw. Beer, wine and liquor – restaurant.
- Tippecanoe Lake Country Club, 7245 N. Kalorama Road, Leesburg. Beer, wine and liquor – restaurant.
- Green Golf Partners LLC, doing business as Wawasee Golf Club, 12388 N. Bishop Road, Syracuse. Beer and wine retailer – restaurant.
- Pure Pleasure Inc., doing business as Pizza King, 806 N. Jefferson St., Silver Lake.
