Jesse Leroy Trickle

Jesse Leroy “J.L.” Trickle, 75, Huntington, passed away June 16, 2020 at 2 a.m. at Miller’s Merry Manor, Huntington. J.L. was born May 25, 1945, in Wabash, to Jesse E. and Phyllis (Flack) Trickle.

J.L. graduated from Manchester High School class of 1963, then went on to further his education at International Business College. He earned an Associate’s Degree in General Business in 1965. On Aug. 22, 1970, J.L. married Mary Ann Hegerfeld. The two were wed for forty-nine years, before Mary Ann passed away on April 3, 2020. J.L. enjoyed gardening and spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of the American Legion Post #85 in Huntington and Emmaus Lutheran Church, Fort Wayne.

The loving memory of Jesse “J.L.” Trickle will be forever cherished by his son, Matthew (Jane) Trickle, Warren; daughter, Tamara (Bart) Berry, Huntington; brother, Kent (Arvada) Trickle, North Manchester; and three grandchildren, Leigh Ann Trickle, Lauren Trickle, and Lucas Trickle. J.L. was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Phyllis Trickle and wife, Mary Ann Trickle.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 18, at 3:30 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 1013 State Road 114 West, North Manchester. Pastor J.P. Freeman will officiate.
