Russell Claude Gagnon Jr.
Russell Claude Gagnon Jr., 80, North Manchester passed away July 1, 2020 at 6:08 a.m. at his residence. On Jan. 5, 1940, Russell was born in Silver Lake, to Russel C. and Sara Annabelle (Hamilton) Gagnon Sr.
Russell earned his high school diploma through the military graduating in 1962. Russell served in the United States Marines Corps from 1958 to 1962. Russell’s first wife, Iris Trout passed away in 1968. He later married Lois Bolinger on Feb. 21, 1987. The two were married for thirty-three years. He was a hardworking man that enjoyed nature and country living. Russell was a loving, caring, father and husband that was always there when someone needed help. Russell worked as a laborer at Dana Incorporated in Warsaw, Indiana for 30+ years retiring in 1999. After many years of hard work, Russell enjoyed retirement, doing odd jobs here and there.
The loving memory of Russell Claude Gagnon Jr. will be forever remembered by his wife, Lois Gagnon, North Manchester; three sons, Russell Lee Gagnon and Scott Eugene (Stacy) Gagnon both of Columbia City, Dean C. Gagnon, North Manchester; two brothers, Otis Harold (Jeanne) Gagnon, New York, Clifford Lee (Irene) Gagnon, Leesburg; one sister, Eva Marie (Bill) Parcell, Wakarusa, Indiana; and one sister-in-law, Rosemary Gagnon, North Manchester.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, and one brother, Dale Gagnon, who passed away in 2017.
No services will be held.
