WARSAW – A man was arrested after threatening the life of a Speedway Gas Station Employee with a knife on July 28.

William E. Bozman, 32, is charged with intimidation with a deadly weapon, a level 5 felony possession of methamphetamine, a level 6 felony, and battery, a class b misdemeanor. His bond was set at $10,500 surety and cash.

An officer with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded to a complaint of a man with a knife on US 30. The officer later identified the person to be Bozman. He denied reports that he had pulled out his knife at the Speedway Gas Station but said that he was beaten by the staff of the business. Bozman showed the officer the supposed wounds but it turned out to be bug bites on his arm.

Another officer spoke with staff at the business who said that Bozman was requested to leave the property. The manager offered to help move his belongings from the business property. This is when Bozman pulled a knife and threatened the manager, saying that he was going to kill him if he touched his things, the court paperwork said.

A photo of Bozman was provided from the neck down showing he was holding a knife. Bozman was arrested and taken to the jail where officers found a smoking device with a residue that was tested positive for methamphetamine.

Bozman was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on July 28.
