Kevin Wayne Bowser — UPDATED
Kevin Wayne Bowser, 52 and a longtime resident of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 8, 2020.
He was the son of James Alto and Patricia Winifred (McQueer) Bowser and was born in Warsaw on Sept. 25, 1967. Growing up in Columbia City, he was a graduate of Columbia City Joint High School. Most recently, he was employed as a CNC machinist with Paragon Medical.
Kevin was a kind, generous person with a caring style. He was a hard worker and loved time spent outdoors, finding pleasure in landscaping and fishing; he especially enjoyed fishing on Lake Erie. He also enjoyed time spent on his Goldwing motorcycle and was never far from his dog, Otis. He attended New Life Church when he was able and was actively involved in Celebrate Recovery.
Those who survive with memories to cherish include his daughter, Rachel (Raymon) Farris of Columbia City; son, Landan (Lacey) Bowser of Fort Wayne; sisters, Verdonna (Don Yakimicki) Huey of Hoffman Lake and Cheryl (Gary) Antinoch of Pingree Grove, Ill.; brother, James (Tammy) Bowser of Rochelle, Ill. and six grandchildren: Bentley, Raymon Jr. “R.J.,” Reece, Kennedy, Romeo and Rolande. Numerous nieces, nephews and his dog, Otis also survive. He was preceded in passing by an infant brother, Steven Wayne Bowser; parents, James and Patricia Bowser and nieces, Amanda Huey and Anna Laughlin.
A Life Celebration® is planned with the assistance of Titus Funeral Home. Friends may join family for a memorial gathering at New Life Church and World Outreach, 744 South 325 East in Warsaw from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29. Beginning at 3 p.m. Pastor John Lowe will officiate Kevin’s Life Celebration service.
