Randall Foster Richardson
Randall Foster Richardson, 50, of Warsaw, Ind., passed away at 12:22 a.m. Friday, April 26, 2013, at Kosciusko Community Hospital.
He was a lifetime resident of Kosciusko County, Ind., a 1981 graduate of Whitko High School in South Whitley, Ind., and he worked as a truck driver for Parker & Sons in Silver Lake, Ind.
Randall was a member of the Burket United Methodist Church, member of the Syracuse V.F.W., American Legion Post #253 in North Webster, Ind., and the Indiana Patriot Guard. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp until his honorable discharge in 1984.
He was born Dec. 23, 1962, in Warsaw to the late Foster Richardson and Ruby (Marshall) Richardson. He was raised by his uncle and aunt: the late Jesse and Wanda Richardson, who survives in Pierceton, Ind. He was married on Oct. 26, 1998, to Teresa Schweitzberger, who survives in Warsaw.
He is also survived by two sons: Michael Richardson, Claypool, Ind.; Nick Richardson, Fort Wayne, Ind.; four daughters: Lindsay (Justin) Filson, Fort Lewis, Wash.; Spring Batton, Soldotna, Alaska.; Kelly (Brian) Chunn, Kenai, Alaska; Emmaline Richardson, Warsaw; eight grandchildren; four brothers: Danny Richardson, North Webster; Rick Richardson, Warsaw; Darrell Hall, Warsaw; Larry Richardson, Pierceton; and two sisters: Pat Mast, Syracuse, Ind; and Kathy Dawson, Warsaw.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, until his service at 11 a.m. Monday, April 29, at Burket United Methodist Church, 102 Market St., Burket, Ind. The funeral will be officiated by Pastor Gary Loy. Burial will follow at Cleveland Township Cemetery, South Whitley, Ind., with military rites.
