WCS Launches Online Registration
Warsaw Community Schools is requesting parents/guardians to register their students for the upcoming 2012-2013 school year using the new and more convenient WCS online system that is being launched this spring.
Parents will be able to register their children when it is convenient for them to do so. The system will be open 24 hours a day and accessible through the PowerSchool portal, a system already used by many parents. Parents will be able to register all of their children from one location with internet access.
The online registration portal is open until June 7. Online registration is for parents who are registering current WCS students for the next grade and/or for new students.
To register children using the new system, parents/guardians need to go to the PowerSchool website:
Parents are requested to log onto the website using current ID usernames and passwords or may acquire their username and password from their children’s home school. Parents of students new to the school corporation are requested to contact their children’s home school to request a password.
Please note that each student to be registered will require a separate log-in. Parents are not required to pay any registration fees at this time. Lunch account payments can be made in August, and textbook rental fees will be billed when class schedules are finalized. Kindergarten parents are requested to register their child in person at their home school.
