Warsaw Community Schools are pleased to announce that two students have earned National Medals in The Scholastic Art and Writing Awards of 2013, presented by the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers.

Nikki Abel, earned a gold medal in photography and Laure Snodgrass, earned a silver medal in mixed media, their work was selected by professional artists as the most accomplished in the nation. This year 230,000 works of art and writing were submitted. Only the top 1,950 were recognized at the national level. WCS is proud to have these students represent the school system in this year’s National Scholastic Art and Writing Awards.
