Garla M. Taylor
Garla M. Taylor, 91, Warsaw, passed away at 3:30 a.m., Sunday, Oct. 18, 2020, in Miller’s Merry Manor, Warsaw. She was born on May 23, 1929, in Roann, to Ronald and Pauline (Grimm) Richard.
Garla lived most her life in the North Manchester area. In September of 1948 she was united in marriage to Herschel Taylor at Silver Creek Church of God, Silver Lake. During her life she worked at General Tire in Wabash, then was a cook at the Laketon and North Manchester Elementary Schools, more than anything she was a Homemaker. She was a member of Silver Creek Church of God, Silver Lake as well as the First Christian Church, North Manchester. She was a member of the North Manchester Moose Lodge Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Woman’s Auxiliary, North Manchester.
She is survived by her son; Thomas Taylor of Warsaw, Daughters; Nancy (Ted) Heaton of Warsaw, Joyce (Dennis) Campbell of Indianapolis, Son; Trenton (Lisa) Taylor of Fort Wayne, sister; Betty (Frank) Jones of Warsaw, nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, one niece and two nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Herschel, and her brother; Dale.

Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 21, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. A funeral will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, in McHatton-Sadler Funeral Chapel, Warsaw. Pastors J.P. Freeman and Brenda Fritz will officiate the service. Interment will be in Silver Creek Church of God Cemetery, Silver Lake.
