Patricia Lynn “Pat” Burns, 68, Syracuse, passed away at 7:35 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020, at Avalon Village Nursing Home, Ligonier.

She was born on April 4, 1952, in Fayette, Ky., to Richard Dale and Velma Esther (Boyer) Walker.

She graduated from Elkhart High School and lived most of her life in the North Webster/Syracuse area.

On Dec. 29, 2000, in Syracuse, she married Lenny W. Burns. He survives.

She was formerly employed at Wawasee Community School Corp. as a bus driver for more than 20 years.

She is survived by her husband, Lenny Burns, Syracuse; her sister, Wilma Wolford, Elkhart; and her nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother.

Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, Warsaw.

Preferred memorials may be given to Goshen Home Care & Hospice.
