Halle Lechlitner

MILFORD — Halle Elise Lechlitner, daughter of Fred and Heather (Lamb) Lechlitner, Nappanee, is a new junior member of the American Angus Association, according to Mark McCully, chief executive officer of the national organization with headquarters in St. Joseph, Mo. She is the granddaughter of Dr. Bruce and Beth Lamb, Milford and Richard and Connie Lechlitner, Wakarusa.

Lechlitner is also a junior member of the Indiana Angus Association. A first-year member of the Leesburg Mighty Farmers 4-H Club, she is a third grader at Nappanee Elementary and attends Wawasee Community Bible Church, Milford. Lechlitner and her brothers, Caleb, 15; and Hayden, 13; have Angus calves at the Lamb property south of Milford. Lechlitner will soon be owning her own breeding stock. Her brothers are also junior members of the Indiana and American Angus associations.

Junior members of the association are eligible to register cattle in the American Angus Association, participate in programs conducted by the National Junior Angus Association and take part in association-sponsored shows and other national and regional events.
