Tippecanoe Property Owners Set Flotilla Theme
Lake Tippecanoe Property Owners Inc. has announced the theme of the 2013 LTPO Flotilla. This year’s theme is, “It’s a Charlie Brown 4th of July.”
Dan Drook, chairman of the flotilla, commented that Charlie Brown is a cartoon icon and the cast of characters included in the Peanuts cartoon family will allow Flotilla participants to design their float not only around Charlie Brown, but possibly Snoopy, Lucy, Pig Pen or another Peanuts character.
The flotilla will be launched from the Patona Bay Beach Resort, on Saturday, July 6, at
1 p.m. and return approximately at 2 p.m. when the winners will be presented cash prizes. The Patona Bay Resort is located on the west side of Tippecanoe Lake.
Spectators can watch the flotilla begin and end at the Patona Bay Resort.
