Kosciusko County Reports One New COVID-19 Death

WARSAW — Kosciusko County reported one new COVID-19 death, bringing the county’s total to 64, according to the Indiana Department of Health website.
The county’s case count is now at 6,399, which is up from 6,205 reported on Friday, Dec. 18.
The Marshall County Health Department recently reported one new COVID-19 death, bringing the county’s total to 66. The death occurred on Friday, Dec. 18. Marshall County has 4,254 positive cases, which is up from 4,170 reported on Friday.
Statewide, the IDH website shows the number of COVID-19 deaths in Indiana rose to 7,101, which is up from 6,944 reported on Friday.
The total positive number of reported COVID-19 cases in Indiana is now at 468,219. More than 5,288,000 COVID-19 tests have been administered to Hoosiers.
Locally, Fulton County has 1,280 positive cases, Whitley County has 2,236 positive cases, which is up from 2,171 reported on Friday; and Wabash County has 2,457 positive cases. Noble County has 3,747 positive cases and Elkhart County has 21,795.
In other northern Indiana counties, Lake County has 37,301 positive cases, which is up from 36,329 reported on Friday; Allen County has 25,936 positive cases, which is up from 25,241 reported on Friday; and St. Joseph County has 22,954 positive cases, which is up from 22,478 reported on Friday.
According to the Johns Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, more than 317,000 people in the United States have died due to COVID-19.
