Pets Of The Week
Press Release
PIERCETON — Pets of the Week are available for adoption at the Animal Welfare League, located at 1048 S. CR 325E, Pierceton.
Ares
At 14 pounds, Ares the cat is one of the biggest cuddle bugs at the AWL. He is a one-year-old, neutered, male Domestic Short Hair mix. Ares has a black and brown tiger-striped coat and large green eyes. He is a friendly boy who enjoys lots of attention. One of his dreams is to be a volunteer for Big Brothers and Sisters of America. He loves to play with children and views himself as an older sibling. Ares would do best as the only cat in the home; dogs and people are welcome. Call to make an appointment to visit Ares today. He’s always ready for a fun time.
Ares’ adoption fee is $75.
Lily
Lily watches the comings and goings of the shelter with gentle brown eyes. She is a three-year-old, spayed, female American Staffordshire Terrier mix. She has a white coat with caramel patches and weighs 57 pounds. Lily is a sweetheart who loves attention from all types of people. She enjoys long walks and playing games of tug and fetch. Lily is hoping for an active family that will give her lots of exercise and cuddles. She does well with children and if you have other pets, she would like to meet them. Call to make an appointment to visit Lily today.
Lily’s adoption fee is $130.
