Creighton Family Donates To Salvation Army

WARSAW — On Saturday, Dec. 19, all monies collected at the red kettles of The Salvation Army were matched by a generous gift from Eddie and Louise Creighton in the amount of $5,000.
A total of $8,537.72 was collected that day. The Creightons added another $5,000 to match the $3,537.52 that was collected over the goal. The challenge is still out to match the balance of $1,462.68 by Dec. 31, according to Envoy Ken Locke, corps administrator. Donations may be sent to The Salvation Army, PO Box 1257, Warsaw, IN 46581 and mark “Creighton Challenge” in the memo line.
A total of $18,537.72 has been collected to date that includes monies given at Creighton Crazy Egg Café and Coffee Bar, Warsaw, where donations may be left as well.
“There are no words to express to Eddie and Louise for their generous gift and challenge except thank you,” said Locke. “The Creighton Family and Creighton Brothers Inc. employees have always been great supporters of our outreach to others.”
