Syracuse Violinist’s Recital Open To Public
Mariah Woolley will be performing a recital of violin music at the Church of the Good Shepherd, 100 8th St. in Winona Lake, at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 23. Woolley will be playing selections by Beethoven, Tchaikovsky and others.
The recital is free and open to the public. A free will offering will be taken and donated to the MasterWorks Festival Scholarship Fund. Contributions by check are tax deductible.
Mariah recently graduated high school as a home schooled student, majoring in fine arts and music. She lives outside Syracuse and has played violin for eight years. Currently playing with the Fort Wayne Youth Symphony and The Symphony of the Lakes in Winona Lake, she is an alumnae of Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lake, Mich., and has previously participated in the MasterWorks Festival in Winona Lake. She is currently studying violin and viola with Derek Reeves, principle violist for the Fort Wayne Philharmonic.
