ALBION – Dana Light Axle Products is planning to close its Albion facility.

In a notice to the state, the company says it will be closing its service parts and export packaging center and all employees working at the facility will be permanently laid off.

According to the company, about 43 employees will be affected by the layoffs, which are expected to begin at the end of April. The layoffs will also impact about 30 temporary employees.

The company says employees do not have bumping rights.
