WINONA LAKE — The first annual Weed Wrangle hosted by the Kosciusko Water and Woodland Invasive Partnership will be taking place from 8 a.m. to noon March 20.

This event will be targeting the well-loved Winona Lake biking trails. If you enjoy the benefits of these wooded areas, this is a great way to invest in their longevity so they can be assets to the community for years to come. Take this opportunity to get your hands dirty and tackle some of the most difficult woody invasive including bush honeysuckle, burning bush and Japanese barberry.

This event is best suited for adults and limited to 20 registrants to allow for social distancing. Register online. Be prepared to handle loppers and chemicals. Gloves, water and pre-packaged snacks will be provided.
