One Injured In Marshall County Car/Semi Collision

PLYMOUTH — Jessica R. Parker, 37, Fort Wayne, sustained injuries after her vehicle struck the back of a semitractor/trailer on US 30, east of Queen Road, Plymouth. The collision occurred at 12:59 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12.
Parker, who was trapped in her 1997 Buick, was extricated and flown by Medflight to Memorial Hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries were not released.
The preliminary investigation by the Marshall County Police Department found Parker was eastbound on US 30, approaching Queen Road when it struck the back of a 2012 Volvo semitractor/trailer, driven by Zdzislaw Hodorowicz, 52, Bridgeview, Ill. Hodorowicz was also eastbound and had slowed or stopped at the intersection for a red light.
The Marshall County Police Department was assisted by the Indiana State Police, Plymouth Fire, Reichert and Knepp Wrecker Service at the scene of the collision. The Indiana State Police are assisting in this ongoing investigation.
