Russ Adams

Russell G. “Russ” Adams, 74, North Webster, passed away at 8:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 22, 2021, at his home. He was born June 16, 1946 in Primghar, Iowa to Herbert M. and Viola E. (Miksel) Adams.

He graduated in 1964 from Mentone High School and was a lifetime Mentone and North Webster area resident. He was married on June 29, 1974, in North Webster, to Sandra Sue “Sandy” Kiser who preceded him Oct. 31, 2015. He retired in 2006 from Parker Hannifin (formerly Syracuse Rubber Company) after 36 years.

He formerly attended the Church of the Brethren in North Webster and the United Methodist Church in Mentone.

He is survived by two sons: Jacob Adams of North Webster and James Adams of Columbia City; granddaughter, Ava Adams.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a twin brother, Robert Ray Adams, sister, Mary Jane Lewis.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. SR 15, Warsaw. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Mentone Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster, is in charge of arrangements.
