WINONA LAKE – Ulisses Miranda picked up a national honor after helping Grace College’s Men’s soccer team secure a win on Saturday afternoon.

The NCCAA named Miranda the Offensive Player of the Week for his efforts. He is the second Lancer to earn the honor this month, joining Felipe Gruber.

Miranda powered the Lancers’ offense in their 2-1 overtime win over No. 13 Rio Grande. Miranda scored both goals for Grace including the game winner.

The win is the Lancers second over a ranked team this spring.

Grace will travel to No. 11 Spring Arbor to take on the Cougars on Friday.
