WARSAW – The Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau has recently created 22 new postcard designs highlighting numerous communities in the county.
The card designs can be viewed at VisitKosciuskoCounty.org/visitor-center/.
Cards are for sale at the visitor center in Warsaw for $1 each or six for $5. They can be purchased in person during hours or arrangements can be made to have them mailed.
“A common inquiry by visitors and locals alike at the visitor center is for postcards. We felt it was time to create new designs with the excellent photography we have from local photographers and include community cards along with scenic and the popular State of Indiana card. It is just another way to display the pride we have for beautiful Kosciusko County,” said Jill Boggs, Chief Executive Officer of the Kosciusko County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The postcards were produced by the CVB after they saw a need to replace older cards that have been available for 15-plus years.
CVB hired a designer and used photos from several local photographers. The State of Indiana cards have photography available from other sources although a few of those images are from Kosciusko County.
Boggs said they plan to work with communities that would like to promote their towns with the postcards.
The goal was to invest a small number of marketing dollars to show off destinations in a fun, retro way by using the cards to collectively show off destinations, she said.
