UPDATE: Two People Seriously Injured In Early Morning Crash Near Sidney

CLAYPOOL — More information has been released following an early morning accident on Thursday, April 8, in which two people were injured.
According to a Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office accident report, three drivers were involved in the wreck at 6:20 a.m. at East SR 14 and South Packerton Road, Claypool, which is southwest of Sidney.
They were Jamie R. Bender, 20, CR 35, Goshen; Mark E. Roser, 67, Highland Drive, Wabash; and Donald E. Dewitt, 61, East Constitution Drive, Syracuse.
Bender was traveling on SR 14 with Dewitt following behind her. Bender’s vehicle pulled into the path of Roser’s vehicle, which hit hers.
Her vehicle then spun around and hit Dewitt’s vehicle.
Bender was airlifted to a hospital after complaining of abdominal and head pain. Roser had cuts on his head. He was inspected by EMS, but not transported. Dewitt complained of hip and head pain and was taken to a hospital.
