SYRACUSE — Tate Cowan has been named valedictorian and Alexandra Haberman salutatorian for the Wawasee High School Class of 2021.

Tate is the daughter of Kari and Jeff Cowan and plans to attend Columbia University and major in biology. She has been involved in student council, Academic Super Bowl, Kosciusko Youth Leadership Academy, National Honor Society, DECA, basketball, golf and tennis while at WHS.

Alexandra is the daughter of Mary and Steve Haberman and plans to attend Purdue University and major in biology. She has been involved in student council, tutoring, Academic Super Bowl, KYLA, National Honor Society, DECA, basketball, soccer, swimming and unified track while at WHS.

Graduation for WHS is scheduled for Sunday, June 6.
