Silver Lake Fire Department Dinner And Auction May 8

SILVER LAKE — The seventh annual Silver Lake Fire Dinner and Auction, hosted by the Silver Lake Volunteer Fire Department, will be held from 4-7 p.m., or until sold out, Saturday, May 8.
The freewill donation meal includes grilled tenderloin and french fries and will take place at the new fire station, located at 702 E. Main St., Silver Lake. There will be dine-in, carry-out or drive-thru options.
The online auction is already live and is being organized by Metzger Auction North Manchester.
Some of the items available at the auction include: a Roadmaster bike 24″ Granite Peak Mountain Bike from Discount Warehouse; gift cards and other items from Sugarlands Distilling Company; a John Deere Mini tractor for ages 1 1/2 – 3 years, 44 lb. weight from Peg Perego; gift basket from Parkview Samaritan; four tickets to the NCAA Hall Of Champions; $100 gift book from Gervasi Vineyard; two general admission tickets to the Creation Museum; a guitar from Sweetwater; two tickets to Kings Island; eight VIP passes to Fort Knox Paintball; and an assortment of gift cards, such as Martin’s Supermarket, Hacienda, Bart’s Water Sports, Baker Street Steakhouse and The Hoppy Gnome.
Silver Lake Volunteer Fire started serving the communities of Lake Township and the Town of Silver Lake in 1900. The department was incorporated in 1961.
