MENTONE — The Mentone Community Farmer’s Market will open for the season from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 8.

This year, the opening and closing days of the market are expanded to include craft and antique vendors.

Mentone’s farmer market is held in the parking lot at the corner of North Tucker Street and SR 25/West Main Street, next to Subway. The farmer’s market is operational every Saturday through September.

Mentone Town Council Member Shelly Krueger oversees the farmer’s market and said there will be about 15 to 20 vendors at Saturday’s event. There is no set-up fees for vendors and anyone interested in selling products at the farmer’s market can e-mail Krueger at [email protected].
