Jimtown Baseball 7, NorthWood 3
The Jimmies ended NorthWood’s three-game win streak Thursday afternoon.
The Panthers, playing in its fourth game in as many days, saw Jimtown create a 6-0 lead after a five-run third inning. Braden Garner and Nick Carithers both had RBI singles in the inning.
NorthWood had Logan Balasa get an RBI single and Isaiah Yoder triple in a run in its attempt to catch up, but fell short to see its season mark drop to 13-6 overall.
Sam Garner struck out seven in the complete game for the Jimmies, Isaac Roberts taking the loss for the Panthers.
Caston Baseball 16, Triton 1
Caston managed just seven hits, but drew 19 walks off erratic Triton pitching to claim a lopsided Hoosier North Athletic Conference win in Bourbon.
On the other end, Kade Zeider shut down the Trojans (2-14) with a four-hitter, the one run unearned, and struck out six. Isaac Lemler had the lone RBI for the Trojans.
Northfield Baseball 4, Tippecanoe Valley 0
Northfield claimed a road win in Akron in Three Rivers Conference play.
The Vikings fall to 9-8 overall, 4-3 in the TRC.

Pioneer Softball 19, Triton 3
Hailey Gotshall was fantastic for the Class 2-A No. 2 Panthers.
Gotshall struck out 10 and allowed just one hit and no walks in 3.2 innings of work. Gotshall and the Panthers teed off on Lena Doll, Gotshall with a pair of homers and eight runs driven in, Madison Blickenstaff had a grand slam, another homer, and drove in seven and Hailey Cripe also homered twice.
Shade Trent had a hit and RBI for the Trojans (4-12) and Madeline Doll had a hit and run scored.
Marion Softball 8, Tippecanoe Valley 7
The Giants rallied late to clip the visiting Vikings.
Larielle Cox had a two-run single in the sixth inning to give the Giants the lead for good in a back-and-forth affair that saw the game have five lead changes and three ties.
Corinna Stiles had a hit, two walks and 3 RBI for the Vikings (10-10) and Brayden Baney cracked a homer and scored three runs.
Stiles and starter Abby Bowers combined for seven punchouts.
