Juneteenth Program In Warsaw Will Feature Several Speakers

WARSAW – African and Black Leaders for Excellence and One Warsaw are hosting a Juneteenth program and dinner at 6 p.m. Saturday, June 19, to celebrate the rich history and contributions of African-Americans.
The event at the Shrine Building on the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds, 1400 East Smith St., Warsaw, will offer fun and fellowship and will feature the following speakers:
• Joe Banks, Retired Community Leader
• David Neff, Dir., Kosciusko Co. Senior Center
• Dr. David Hoffert, Superintendent, Warsaw Schools
• Jalyn Radziminiski, Founder & President, Count US IN
• Paul Hardy, with African and Black Leaders for Excellence
The program is free to attend thanks to the generosity of Zimmer Biomet and is part of their continuing effort to support diversity and equity in the community. You can enhance your experience by purchasing a dinner of pulled pork, mac and cheese, and coleslaw provided by Big C’s Catering for $10 per person.
