LEESBURG — One person was injured in a motorcycle crash around 12:05 p.m. today, Monday, June 21, on Armstrong Road. The accident occurred near 511 E. Armstrong Road, Leesburg.

It appears the driver of the motorcycle went off the south side of Armstrong Road, through a yard and shrubs before landing in a corn field. The driver was thrown from the motorcycle.

It was stated at the scene that Lutheran EMS was going to transport the driver for unknown injuries to an area hospital.

Lutheran EMS, Plain Township Fire Department and Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office responded.

The driver of this motorcycle was thrown several feet to the east of where the motorcycle stopped in the field.
