Shelby von Holdt
Shelby von Holdt, 20, of Columbia City, passed away Tuesday, June 22, 2021, at Lutheran Hospital. Born Sept. 7, 2000, just down the hall from the room where she passed away at in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Shana Hartman and Toby von Holdt.
She graduated from Troy Center High School with the Class of 2018. Shelby had worked at Bob Evans, Steak ‘n Shake and a few various other jobs as she was trying to decide a career path to take. Shelby was the life of any party that she showed up at. She was a beautiful young lady with a wonderful smile, she was outgoing, she loved being around her friends, and she loved to sing and dance.
Shelby is survived by her mother, Shana (Jen Pineault) Hartman; father, Toby von Holdt; sister, Payton Hartman; brothers, Davin von Holdt and Isaac von Holdt; grandparents, Roger and Judy Hartman and Suzie and Jim Heinmann; and her niece, Camilla.
Visitation will be 2-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 29, at DeMoney-Grimes Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. Shelby’s service will begin at 7 p.m. Privately she will be laid to rest at South Park Annex Cemetery.
