Akron Chamber Says Thanks

The Akron Chamber of Commerce and Akron 4th of July Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank the many businesses, chamber members, residents, and visitors who made the 2021 Akron 4th of July celebration a wonderful community gathering with many heartwarming memories made.
Thank you to the Akron Carnegie Public Library, Akron Church of God, Akron Community Center, Akron Concrete Products, Akron Dental Care, Akron Family Chiropractic, Akron Las Donas, Akron Methodist Church, Akron Parent Support Group, Akron Parks Department, Akron Vision Center, Apex Waste, Bobcat of Warsaw, Casa de Renovacion, Cottage Watchman & Security, Dilly’s Restaurant and Bar, Fulton Economic Development Corp., Gagnon Motors, Garcia’s Mexican Food, Gast Heating and Cooling, Geiger Trenchless Solutions, Golf Cart Brigade, Hartzler Funeral Home, Henry Township Volunteer Fire Department, Hoffman Body Shop, Lake City Bank, Northern Indiana Industrial Coatings, O and R Buildings, Omega Church, Orville Haney Homes Land and Lake Realty, Pike Lumber Company, Jim and Jan Saner, Tic Toc Trophy Shop, Tom Bauters CPA, Town of Akron, Walgamuth Enterprises and the many different food and retail vendors.
Thank you to all the participants in the following events that took place June 25 through the July 4: Penny-A-Vote Cute Baby Contest, Miss Sparkler, Mr. Firecracker, Miss Akron, Firecracker 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, Young Entrepreneurs, parade participants and Copper Bridges Band and to many others who contributed to this event and who modeled the “Together, We Rise” theme in this bustling small rural town that was settled on July 4, 1836.
The Akron Chamber of Commerce is looking forward to the 2022 celebration and currently planning for the Akron community gathering again in Pike Memorial Park for the Akron Summer’s End Festival on Saturday, Sept. 25.
