Storm Warning Issued For Northern Kosciusko County

WARSAW – As one storm passes through central and southern Kosciusko County, the National Weather Service has issued another weather warning for northern parts of the county as well as Elkhart and Noble counties.
As of 7 a.m., the weather service identified severe thunderstorms located along a line extending from near Bourbon to near North Webster to near Pierceton, moving northeast at 30 mph.
The warning remains in effect until 7:45 a.m.
The storm could produce heavy winds and rain.
Meanwhile, a storm that passed through the county around 6:30 a.m. has left sporadic power outages and dispatchers are reporting numerous trees down and damaged electrical transformers.
Motorists should be on the outlook for debris and downed power lines this morning.
