Progress Continues on Winona Lake Ice Rink
Staff Report
WINONA LAKE — Progress is being made on the construction of Winona Lake’s future ice rink.
Steel framework for the ice rink pavilion, formally known as the Miller Sunset Pavilion, is being installed this week.
The 20,000 square-foot pavilion is being constructed at the former site of the Billy Sunday Tabernacle along Park Avenue in Winona Lake.
Nick Hauck with WL Ice LLC, which currently owns the pavilion via the build, operate and transfer (BOT) process, said Wednesday, Sept. 1, that the project should be finished by next spring or summer.
