AKRON — The Tippecanoe Valley School Corp. has received a $100,000 safety grant for fiscal year 2022 from Indiana Department of Homeland Security.

Of the 392 awardees, TVSC was one of only 52 awarded the maximum grant award this cycle. This is the fourth consecutive year, TVSC has been a maximum grant awarded school district.

In May 2021, TVSC conducted a district-wide threat assessment through Safe Havens International through the last Secured School Safety grant it received. Through recommendations of the assessment and priority lists compiled by the TVSC Safety Team, the projects for 2022 will commence immediately.
