UPDATE: Police Make Drug Bust In Warsaw
Warsaw Police have now released information regarding a Thursday drug bust in the Shamrock Mobile Home Park where two people were arrested and additional warrants are being sought.
Nathan Alan Ghrist, 32, 920 Anchorage Rd. Lot 107, Warsaw, was arrested at his home on a number of charges after police received information that illegal drugs were being distributed from the residence. Police also conducted traffic stops linking the use of acid (LSD) and marijuana to the residence.
Arrested was Ghrist, who is charged with dealing in marijuana, a Class D felony; dealing in a Schedule I narcotic, a Class B felony; maintaining a common nuisance, a Class D felony; possession of marijuana over 30 grams, a Class D felony; possession of a controlled substance, a Class D felony; and neglect of a child, a Class C felony.
Emmanuel Robert Long, 22, of 4330 N. Old SR 15, Warsaw, was also arrested for possession of marijuana, a Class A misdemeanor.
Four additional warrants on other individuals have been filed with the Kosciusko County Prosecutor’s Office and it is possible even more warrants will be issued.
Department of Child Services assisted the Warsaw Police Department in placing the children located at 920 Anchorage Rd., Lot 107, with family members.
