Officers with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office investigated the following accident:

• 6:03 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, North CR 500W, Nappanee. Driver: Joseph A. Cleland, 47, EMS B24 Lane, Pierceton. Cleland’s vehicle struck a deer. Damage: Up to $10,000.

Syracuse

Officers with the Syracuse Police Department investigated the following accidents:

• 4:35 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, North Dolan Drive, north of West Henry Street, Syracuse. Drivers: Jaycee R. Logan, 27, West Boston Street, Syracuse; and Sonia N. Bango, 56, West Main Street, Syracuse. Logan said she was traveling eastbound on West Henry Street, Syracuse, and proceeded to turn northbound on North Dolan Drive. Logan said she didn’t observe Bango’s vehicle turning west on West Henry Street from North Huntington Street and then immediately north on North Dolan Drive. She was unable to avoid making contact with Bango’s vehicle. Damage: Up to $5,000.
• 3:15 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, West Main Street, south of North Dolan Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: Jean A. Oberg, 69, East CR 750N, Leesburg; and Garry L. Ringler, 72, East Mulligan Court, Syracuse. Oberg said she was turning southbound on North Dolan Drive, Syracuse, from West Main Street when she turned too sharp and struck Ringler’s vehicle. Damage: Up to $2,500.
• 2:08 p.m. Monday, Oct. 18, South Huntington Street, north of East Pickwick Drive, Syracuse. Drivers: Shawn D. Eitniear, 47, Empire Street, Montpelier, Ohio; and Alan L. Miller, 16, 71341 CR 33, Syracuse. Eitniear was traveling northbound on South Huntington Street, Syracuse, and the vehicles in front of him stopped abruptly. He was not able to stop before hitting the back trailer hitch of Miller’s vehicle. Damage: Up to $2,500.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

• 11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, US 30, Warsaw. Drivers: Joel G. Kabanda, 51, Forest Oak Lane, Columbus, Ohio; Steven P. Maull, 44, Rebecca Street, Claypool; and Timothy R. Nelson, 41, Chestnut Court, Portage. Kabanda’s vehicle rear-ended Maull’s vehicle, pushing Maull’s vehicle into Nelson’s vehicle. Damage: Up to $10,000.
