Trick-Or-Treat All Week At Milford Public Library
News Release
MILFORD—Come to the library dressed in a Halloween costume and get a full-size candy bar and a fun craft to take home and make. It’s “Trick-or-Treat… All Week!”
Library Long Range Plan
It’s time for the library to collect information from the community in order to create a new long range plan. The library will be calling people and businesses in the area to ask some questions about the use of the individual’s library and if there are services or programs that the individual would like to see in the future. The survey will also be available at the library if patrons would like to share any ideas with the staff. The library will send the survey out via email, if patrons find that more convenient. It will only take a few minutes to respond to the survey and it is very helpful to the library staff and board when planning for the next few years. If a patron would like to stop by the library with suggestions, that’s okay too. The staff wants to hear from its patrons.
The Library Still Needs Donations
If patrons would like to donate to the library; it is accepting full sized candy bars and monetary donations to be used for treats. Patrons may donate at the adult circulation desk. The library is going to celebrate “Trick-or-Treat…All Week!” From Oct. 25 through Oct. 30, children under age 18 are invited to dress up in Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat at the library. The library will have a Halloween craft and a sweet treat for each child, while the supply lasts. The staff thanks you in advance for the donations and generosity.

October Lego Challenge
In the spirit of Halloween, for this month, the library is challenging the crew to build a pumpkin out of Legos. The pumpkin can be 2D or 3D, it can have a face or not, it could be big or little. Get creative and use imagination, the staff is so excited to see what is created. After building the Lego pumpkins, submit a photo to [email protected] by Oct. 29 for a chance to win a new Lego kit. Staff will then vote for the winning submission and the winner will be announced. No library card needed. For ages 18 & under.
