Warsaw Community Public Library Events
The following events are coming up at the Warsaw Community Public Library:
Cookbook Club will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, July 1. Chris Auding from The Olive Branch will discuss the benefits of using olive oil.
The Survival Movie program will feature the film “Cloverfield” from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 2. The film is rated PG-13.
Computer Clinic will be held from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, July 3. Those with computer questions or concerns can attend for assistance.
The Pinterest 101 course will be held from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 3. Attendees will learn how to create boards, manage content and find inspiration. Registration is required.
The Knit and PURL Club will meet from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday, July 8.
Writers Club will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday, July 8.
Genealogy Club will meet from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 9. Members will meet in the Indiana Room at the library.
The Survival Movie program will feature the film, “The Hunger Games” from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 9. The film is rated PG-13.
The Underground Railroad event will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 9. Attendees will learn the difficulties of a slave escaping to the North. Registration required.
Stamping With Donna will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 9. This program is part of a revolving monthly program schedule so a different program will be offered every month. Registration required.
Off the Shelf Reading Group will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday, July 11, and will discuss Girlchild by Tupelo Hassman.
The Survival Movie event will feature the film “V For Vendetta” from 4 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, July 16. The film is rated R and visitors must present an ID for admittance.
The Zombie Movie event will feature the film “Zombieland” from 3 p.m. to 5p.m. Thursday, July 18. The film is rated R and visitors must present an ID for admittance.
Make It and Take It Crafts will be creating paracord bracelets from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 20. A sample bracelet may be viewed at the reference desk. Registration is required.
“Asteroids! Finding Them Before They Find Us” will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, July 20. The event will feature a PowerPoint presentation of the near Earth objects in our solar system. Registration is required.
The “Archaeology In Your Community” program will be from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July This presentation, which features the Department of Natural Resource employee Amy Johnson, will cover myths and realities regarding archaeology, what is happening in Indiana in terms of archaeology today and how the public can be involved in archaeology. Registration is required.
