Two Die In Thanksgiving Day Crash In Noble County

NOBLE COUNTY — Two 20-year-old area residents died in a crash in Noble County on Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25.
Riley M. Simpson, 20, Milford, and a passenger, Terrence A. Suddon, 20, Syracuse, died in a two-vehicle crash.
The accident was reported at 3:56 p.m. on CR 200N at CR 900W, in Noble County.
Noble County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call at 3:56 p.m. about an accident at the intersection. The initial investigation revealed Efrain L. Murillo, 26, Ligonier, drove his 2013 Ford Explorer into the intersection and was struck by Simpson’s 2010 Dodge Challenger.
The impact caused both vehicles to come to a rest southeast of the intersection.
Simpson and Suddon were pronounced dead at the scene.
Murillo and a passenger, Fernanda Ruvalcaba, 25, Ligonier, were transported to Parkview Regional Hospital for emergency treatment. Their conditions were unknown.
Authorities note that Murillo was unlicensed at the time of the crash. The exact cause of the accident is under investigation.
Assisting at the scene were the Indiana State Police, Ligonier Police, Sparta Township Fire Department, Noble Township Fire Department, Parkview EMS and the Noble County Coroners Office.
