The following programs will be offered to adults at the Warsaw Community Public Library:

The Chess Club will met from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, Saturday, Aug. 10, Saturday, Aug. 17 and Saturday, Aug. 31. For the beginner or expert.

Cookbook Club will meet from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 5. The club will discuss recipes and techniques with frozen food in a crockpot.

Advanced PICASA will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6. Learn how to make collages, posters, and slide shows using PICASA, a free photo-editing software with a photo-sharing website. Registration is required.

Computer Clinic will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 7. Bring your computer questions and problems. This is a one-on-one program.

The Knit and PURL Club will meet from 6 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12. 6 For the beginner and the expert.

Writers Club will meet from 6:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 12. The events are for adults and teens who like to write.

Genealogy Club will meet from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13. The grou will meet in the Indiana Room for a round table discussion.

The Stamping With Donna class will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13. A different project will be featured every month. Cost is $15-18. Registration is required.

Laptop Basics will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15. Come to the event and learn the features of your laptop. This class covers function keys, drives and other physical features. Registration is required.

The Card Making Class will be held from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 15. Visitors can make three different cards every month. Cost is $15-18. Registration is required.

The “Meet Holocaust Survivor Doris Fogel” event will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 17. Doris Fogel is the executive director of the Fort Wayne Jewish Federation and will show us how important it is that we never forget the events of WWII. Registration is required.

eBook Clinic will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 27. Come learn how to access WCPL’s eBook, eAudiobook and eVideo collections. Bring your device (Kindle, Nook, iPad, smartphone, tablet etc.) with you. Registration is required.

Make It Take It Crafts will feature a course on stationary gift set from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Use a placemat to create a fabric folder for stationary. Cost is $2 to make a folder or $4 for making a folder/stationary. Registration is required.
