Penguin Point Promotes Two To Key Management
Penguin Point Franchise Systems Inc. has promoted two long-term associates to key management positions according to a recent announcement by Wes Stouder, CEO of the restaurant chain.
Michael L. Russell has been named director of finance and David K. Meier has been promoted to director of operations.
Russell has been with Penguin Point for over 30 years in a number of accounting assignments, most recently as controller. He brings a wealth of experience to his new role as director of finance.
Meier has held the position of division manager for Penguin Point since joining the company in 1997. He, too, has over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry including a number of management roles, all of which will help address the responsibilities of his new assignment.
Penguin Point was founded in 1950, is based in Warsaw and operates restaurants across northern Indiana.
Stouder noted the two promotions will provide Penguin Point with continued momentum to meet the ever-changing demands of the food service business.
