Warsaw Woman Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

WARSAW — A Warsaw woman was recently arrested on multiple drug charges.
Jessica Lee Johnson, 46, 733 E. Fort Wayne St., Warsaw, is charged with dealing methamphetamine, a level 3 felony; possession of methamphetamine, a level 5 felony; possession of marijuana, a class B misdemeanor; possession of paraphernalia, a class C misdemeanor; and possession of marijuana sentence enhancement, a class A misdemeanor.
On March 10, officers with the NET43 Drug Task Force went to Johnson’s home to execute a search warrant. An Indiana State Police trooper assigned to NET43 knocked on the door and announced police were there to serve a warrant.
According to court documents, the trooper could hear someone inside the home but there was no answer at the door. The trooper knocked on the door again but received no response. A Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office detective forced entry and officers entered the home.
Johnson was the only person inside the home. She told officers she had used needles and that they may find some in her home. Johnson also admitted to possessing 3.5 grams of methamphetamine.
While searching the home, officers found various drug paraphernalia with methamphetamine residue, a bag containing 8.2 grams of methamphetamine, and a bag contains 4.8 grams of THC.
Johnson admitted that all of the items in the home belonged to her. She also admitted to using and selling methamphetamine.
Johnson has been previously convicted in two methamphetamine possession cases in Kosciusko County.
For this case, Johnson was booked in the Kosciusko County Jail on June 7, with a $20,750 surety and cash bond.
