City Opens Cooling Center At Pete Thorn Center

WARSAW – The city of Warsaw on Monday, June 13, announced it will open a cooling center on Tuesday and Wednesday,
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat watch for north central Indiana for Tuesday and Wednesday, with heat indices exceeding 100 degrees.
The Pete Thorn Center gymnasium, 800 North Park Avenue, Warsaw, will be available as a cooling center from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, and Wednesday, June 15, for residents who need relief from the heat.
